The subject of this invention is the fan of a chipper according to the preamble of the appended patent claim 1.
Nowadays, the chopped material, that is to say the chippings, is generally removed from the chippers by means of previously known centrifugal blowers which have a round frame which, in the other direction, has the shape of a rectangle. Within the frame, a rotatably mounted Wurfflügelsatz is arranged, which is operated by means of an electric or internal combustion engine. The object of the invention is to reduce the friction between the blade and the inner surface of the frame, whereby the frame of the fan is less heated and worn. Another goal is to reduce the wear of the blades and the inner surface of the frame. In addition, another objective is to reduce the driving force of the blower vanes.
With the blower according to the invention of a chipper, which is characterized by what is stated in the characterizing part of patent claim 1, the above-mentioned disadvantages can be eliminated and the objectives described above can be achieved. Preferred embodiments of the invention are the subject of the dependent claims.
As one of the most important advantages of the invention may be mentioned that the now invented relief element in the blade of the chipper blower reduces the friction between the blade and the frame, whereby the wear and the heating are significantly reduced, resulting in the leaves and the frame of the chipper blower long hold. The long service life considerably reduces the costs of wood chips production.
The invented relief element is a clearance which is incorporated in the sheet, on the entrance side of the wood chips / material of the sheet, while the other, opposite side of the sheet is left tight, whereby the Blaswirkungskraft is maintained. If a clearance were applied across the entire width of the tip of the blade, the blowing effect would decrease considerably. Thanks to the reduction in friction, the demand for the driving force of the blower's thrower set is also reduced.
